View Full Version : Final Gather 'rebuild off' not multithreaded?

When using MentalRay Final Gather and storing the FG solution in a file with the option FG 'rebuild on' and defining a file name CPU load while rendering is at 100%.
But when adding a FG solution from a different camera view to an existing FG file (with the option 'rebuild off' and specifiying the previous created FG file), MentalRay uses only 1 thread to calculate the FG pass!
Means rendering time explodes on multicore machines!

Anyone has the same experience?
