does someone know how to setup a really perfect metallic car shader ?
My approach would be:
Base: Metal IOR 90, reflection glossiness (0.5)
Clear Coat: IOR 1.8, reflection glossiness (1)
On the base I want to use a Sampler Info / Ramp to get the falloff of the color.
On the clear coat.. not sure, should I do the same ?
And regarding the blend mode:
How to blend the base and the clear coat ?
With an IOR of 90 ? Or an IOR of 1.8 ?
Or should I blend with a Sampler Info node and a ramp ?
