i'm giving my system a once over and formating ym hard disks and starting again

rather than bother people with seeing if i can get new license files etc sent out etc etc etc i thought i would jsut back them up before i format

now while lightwave has its ncie and handily called license.key i'm not 100% which is the file for DFX+ 4

DFusion.dat? I suspect this one but not sure

anyway any who knows would be great to knwo for sure

i think that once you've registered, you can go to eyeon's web site and see your license file any time you want. It's a pretty neat system.

And is DFusion.dat

As zuzzabuzz says, just search your dfusion directory for a dfusion.dat file. That is your license. Back that up, and then drop it back in after the format and you should be good to go.

If you can't find it under the program files/dfusion folder, it may be located under the FlexLM folder on root. (especially if you have ever upgraded from maya-fusion)
