My name is Hauke and I am new to this forum. I just finished a one year program at Vancouver Film School and would like to invite you to check out my modeling demo reel. There are currently two versions in different sizes available.
WARNING: Some of the models in my reel might be considered as disturbing and offensive.
- 320x240 Windows Media File (6.3 MB) (http://vfs.com/~3d41hauke/reel-small.wmv)
- 640x480 Windows Media File - zipped- (22 MB) (http://vfs.com/~3d41hauke/reel_large.zip)
You can also check out some still images from my reel or my custom action figures at:

Man that reel was ill, what a mind you must have id hate to be in one of you nightmares lol, just one crit the music is a lil to repeative and doesn't suit the mood of your models, to club like not enough horror to the beat but very good all the same man:wip:

i couldnt stop laughing when i saw the pig model. very quirky indeed, however i think you could make the reel more dynamic imo
you got the your own color... yours looks different form the others.
i like it.. awesome man. !!!!!

when i saw your reel first i thought IT'S DIFFERENT!!
you got diffrent taste from others which makes your reel separated from other 'ordinary' modeling demo reels.
it's quite amusing piece.
i just laughed hard!!
one-tough-year at VFS will be paid off!! good luck with your job searching!

very strange. i like it. :) and the pig-guy model is even anatomically correct! most models are "lacking" certain parts that you included. ;)

Thanks for all your kind words and criticism. I really appreatiate it.
When I first posted my stuff, I was afraid that people might be offended but so far everybody seems to like it.

This is really cool stuff man! It's really cool to see someone who can not only create their own unique characters, but their own style as well. I would love to see a game with this type of style. I'm sure parents would be a little more reluctant to agree however...... Can't wait to see more!!

Some nice modeling skills there, applied to something that's not just the same-old, same-old. Good work!

but your work rules.........rock on dude :buttrock:

Thanks uzair. I hope that someday I will be a psychopathic killer genius.

It's great modelling and very well executed,
Can you show some additional close ups from the characters, like the neck of the cyborg?
very awesome modeling skills.:buttrock:

Man, your stuffs sure are distinctive from others...They're freaky they're good! ;)
11-08-2003, 10:12 AM
Thanks mwkmn, jdsb and Pedro. Pedro, I only have the images I rendered out at vfs for my reel right now. So unfortunately I cannot show you a closeup of the neck yet.

...I would love to see the process of your mind. These models are the most original 3d art I have seen in cgtalk since I joined. Continue, bring us more and more art, that is ...different... i will be waiting.

I hope I will be able to show more 3D Artwork in the future. If you haven't seen them already you can check out some sculptures (all about 5 inches tall) I made in the meantime at:
http://www.hauke-scheer.de/html/main.htm in the custom figure section. The design of those figures is very similar to my 3d designs.
