Hi, I started properly using 3DS max around about 7 months ago, and have a grasp on hard surface modelling. Out of curiosity I've turned my head to organic modelling and I'm scratching my head on where to begin.

I've asked a friend for information and had some solid advice from him. I was told in combination with learning 3DS max organic modelling to also learn Mudbox or ZBRUSH aswell.

I was curious to see if anyone else had any hints and tips in starting off learning organic modelling. What would be the easiest type of model to start working on human or otherwise.
