so, i'll go for the arena intro.

its just a mood where i want to go lighting wise. not near a final result, just a mood!

Cool :). If you plan on adding some steam venting out from pipes, it will look really cool/hangar style, building up the momentum for entering the arena.
And i think, for the floor and walls, you should model some metal panels with bolts, it can break the surfaces really nicely, adding cheap detail :).

a little update, now its more a shaded animatic
overall its a little bit to dark, but that comes my overdone colorcorrection on a bad laptop screen

i'll have to change some shader settings to get rid of the noise in the metal

i'm sorry but i cant finish my work or do any further improvements. i'm currently back at work and we have to deliver in 2 weeks. so i wont spent my little spare time with more CG work.

but it was a great theme for a challenge
