View Full Version : Connecting nodes to RGB channels

Hi! I'm want to connect 3 different nodes to the R,G and B channel of a material. In Maya you just open the connection editor and connect them, but I can't figure out how to make the same connection in XSI.

could you please elaborate a bit more? i'm not sure i understand how to setup those,
the RGB colors in the softimage nodes are grouped, so wich port you connect the "scalar to color" to?

Raffaelle meant that you should use the node called RGBA combine.

Check out image attached, I happened to be using the ICE Sprite compound and
this is what u find inside it..... in the RenderTree.
