Howdy !

This is a rather belated announcement since the new version 3.0 of emPolygonizer3 has already been available for a few weeks.

I am happy to announce the release of emPolygonizer3 ( !
Thanks to the feedback and feature requests of many users this new version has quite a few improvements, here an extract:

multithreaded meshing.
multithreaded octree.
liquid filaments.
motion plotting.
support of Lagoa topology.
advanced mesh smoothing.
support of RealFlow .bin file format.
enhanced workflow for large setups.
handles millions of input points and creates polygon meshes with millions of polygons without problems.
support of multiple custom properties per input object.
capability of meshing a single point cloud with several emPolygonizer3 operators.
direct memory-to-memory meshing of the internal emFluid 3D grids.

Below a screenshot of a test that was made in order to check the stability and production-readiness of the alpha version. The point cloud that was used as an input for the meshing has about 1.25 million particles and combines Lagoa liquid, jello and thick liquid. The polygon count of the resulting meshes is > 5 million (max triangle count is about 10 million).
The test (= release video) was rendered using Arnold and Mental Ray.

Ah the genius of Eric Mootz!

Always great to see what has been cooking in the kitchen....
I am intrigued by the volume render teaser you have placed on the front page, another Mootz triumph awaits!
