Great stuff, the colors are really vivid.
01 January 2004, 07:12 AM
this concept is evolving, as to be expected.
01 January 2004, 06:36 PM
I decided to adjust the composition a bit from the concept but here is the progression.
01 January 2004, 06:40 PM
Here is one of the displacement textures used on the rocky surfaces.
01 January 2004, 06:46 PM
The key light in this scene will be far off and quite stark due to its intensity and lack of atmospheric interference. There will also be light eminating from the gaseous clouds around the rocky structures.
01 January 2004, 06:48 PM
I have received a great deal of inspiration throughout this challenge and it is starting to come together. Plugging in the atmospheric effects.
01 January 2004, 06:55 PM
Working on bringing in contrast in the areas of size, distance, color, and motion. Need the right balance.
01 January 2004, 07:07 PM
I believe this one turned out quite alright, take a look.

Hi dear QUINN!
I think that perfectly you know the science of graphic and composition and realy color knowledge.
Your work realy bringes a dozens of love to me about max.
Anything that i should say is this:
Certainly your colors play my mind.A world of dreamy colors that if us abstract it only to alone colors,it could be a world of aliens.
Realy thanks for your nice words.I think that your work is more better than mine.mine has no special technique, some playing with colors and simple tools. It`s proud me watching your work.
I`m in Iran and you are so far from me but Minute by minute i find new and good friends that`s more important for me further an award.
Again thanks for your interests and best of lucks to you dear Quinn.
See you at high levels my talented friend.:wavey:
