Didn't see a post about this yet, seems like an interesting project... have it downloading now and can't wait to give it a shot!

Capturing the reality as-built for various purposes (renovation, rapid energy analysis, add-on design, historic preservation, fun, etc.) is now possible using your standard point and shoot digital camera thanks to advanced computer vision technologies made available through Project Photofly.

This looks great for getting base geo to work from for photoreal heads and such, especially when trying to create realistic expressions and blendshapes.

Thanks for the link, definitely giving this a try once I'm back from Europe in a few weeks.

I send a request to them.
Fresnell is least provocative at facetangents towards camera - always -
So they need to use these tangets as dominators to determin lum. Else you get some bad splotches also seen on the banana head in their "how to shoot" tutorial.
