View Full Version : Short film "DREAMMAKER"

05-15-2011, 06:50 PM
hi everyone,
it took me ridiculously long but finally my short film "DREAMMAKER" is
for the first time officially online. shining and in eyepopping HD :)
those of you who are about 800 years old might remember it cause it won the
special jury honors once upon a time at siggraph.
if you don't or surprisingly want to see it again in a nice quality, here is your chance:

(click on "HD" in the movie menu to see it in high resolution)

it took me almost 4 years to finish it and beside the music and sounddesign you can blame everything on me.
please let me know how you like it.
hope you enjoy :)

Any awards this received were very deserved. Excellent work.

I really enjoyed this short and the artwork/dedication put out is incredible. That first part really made me jump too. I do think though that the same story could have been told in equal effectiveness in a lower detail level... but that's just me and I'm biased that way anyways. This of course would have left more time to perfect the animation (and add more of it) and improve camerawork aspects which I feel are the weakest points in the film.
