I have been watching this project since the beginning and have enjoyed alot of what I have seen thus far, but now Im hoping that through your experience on this project that one of you could help me.
Currently I am switching over from LW to Maya and have a dilema. I cant seem to export my LightWave models to Maya without having some type of difficulty. I looked into using the FBX file format and I checked what it suppported :annoyed: ...well it stated it doesnt support "sub-patching"???
The models that Blue Cougar are working on are coming straight out of Lightwave. Can you guys share with me how your getting them into Maya? or if you have ran into any difficulty?
I would appreciate it more than you know.
