View Full Version : weighting verts on flush edges

I'm getting a couple models ready for rigging and one of the things I'm not sure about is object edges. I had a bad experience with object edges where the weighting on meeting edge vertices didn't match and it was awful. I'd rather not combine all of my objects for the sake of my shaders so what can I do to make sure two vertices that should have the same weighting actually do?

I'm not sure what sort of solution you had in mind but... why not just be more careful when you're skinning your model?

With what I know now that would involve editing vertices one by one in the component editor. I suspect if I did it that way it would end up being the most inefficient way of getting things to line up.
