As a daily reader of forums, I'm always checking for Houdini news. It is great to see this forum appear. I think it is a good indication of the growth of the Houdini community.
Thanks CGSociety!

I'm lighting an animated featre in Houdini atm, and looovving it. All those years of yelling Maya are slowly fading away. I hope more people jump on board.

I'm not an active Houdini user, but the PLE is fun to play around with,
and it's certainly awesome to see this new forum here.

Right on!

I have Houdini Apprentice on my Linux workstation. It's awesome, very complex too. I like it, even though I am slowly learning my way around it. I tried to use earlier versions before on other systems but for some reason or another they were prone to crash or lock up. 11.0 however seems to perform quite well on my modest system.

Glad to see it back :)
