Hello my fellow cg socialites! Glad to join you in competition , may we reign supreme in this Fifth War.
Let our gods rise to victory and may the best win!
I'm still debating on the name and I'll make my decision as I move forward with the project and further develop my idea.
A little more on this character. He will definitely be male, I spent a little time on this one. The female body is beautiful but I wanted the power that the male body commands.
Why does he assume human form you may ask? He has the ability to materialize into any form, but appreciates this form in particular for it's creation, evolution and the potential design it has to be one of the top species in the universe.
Why does he wear armor?
He battles for peace and balance and as a warrior he likes to find out the odds,to experience war.
Was his attack not true or perfect? Was that why his adversary counter or defended that way? How hard and how much damage can his opponent infflict upon his best defense? He will test his opponents will and only an armor can show the mark it left.
God qualities, weapons and powers still being written.

Finally got a little time to post some concept ideas.
Oh... I have also discovered Alchemy, this little program is amazing. I feel overwhelming creativity flowing through me. Why didn't I use it before?
For the wings? I'm thinking ghostly wings with blue flames, or projecting energy beams. Not sure yet.
What armor combination I should go for? Should I keep the human form or make him a little bit alien or evolved? I will post different sculpts and decide.
Now, I got to start the base model in Blender then jump into Sculptris and see which way I'll be heading.

Base model done...
Head sculpting in sculptris...

I have a feeling this one will be awesome!
What is alchemy? I have seen people use it and they all have symmetrical designs. Is that what its for?
I made a symmetrical design on Photoshop by making a center line, drawing one side, copying, flipping horizontally and dragging it over.

Thanks PavelSokov, you should definitely try Alchemy.
I thought the same at first. Sure! No big deal... But then you start drawing, throwing in random shapes and your ideas simply flow.
If you like something you did make sure you save it. There's no undo on this little gem.
Here's another small update.

Here are two armor variations.

Here's another helmet variation and a retopology test.
Which one looks better? I might do two more full armors.

I like your second helmet variation (the one where the mouth area is open). Looking cool! I've been playing around in Sculptris as well, pretty nifty little program.

Here are some more rough sculpts.
Thanks for the input pixel-chick. :)
