Here is background story about this guy.
He was a commander of special force for nuclear warfare.
Oneday he got involved in suicide mission and all of his team and he were killed in action by radiation poisoning.At the very time of death he noticed someone set him up to this trap.
He fell down to the hell after death.Then He sold his soul to Satan for revenge and he became a devil with nuclear warfare equipment..(it's really cheesy story .......I guess devil could be kind of god though....)
body made from zirconium to keep some nuclear material like plutonium.
It brings the dead body of commander and nuclear reactor and nuke with him.
his Body is connected to head with kind of cable to send and recieve signals.....

Awesome concept. I`m gonna follow your progress :) And you shouldn`t worry about the deadline considering the way DW started with delays I`m pretty sure the deadline is gonna be extended ;)

Cool design, espicially in the head area :applause: . I guess it'll be hard to show the whole idea using a single image. Though it's always turns out like that with nonconvetional designs, at least for me. Good luck, dude. Your thred is one of my favorites now.

@harlequin02:most of modeling is done in 3ds max.In Zbrush stage I add small details like slits , halls and dented areas.. etc....

Sweet, the heads pretty cool on this, makes me think of like a futuristc "Doomsday." Looking foward to more. Will your god have legs or something else?

I figured out most detail of this guy with 3d modeling without proper detail such a problem happend...I would like to change design but I think it's too late to do it.. I will try to cover some details by using dark color during texturing stage.

I baked out A.O map and tested some surface materials. It's just test stage so It's very weak.
once I pick proper material I'll put very heavy surface material texture.

So you just have maps and alpha channels on those 2 big polygons? Looks great, who needs 20,000 polys ha ha :)

Jae-Keum, I've been following you from the start and have been amazed the entire time. When I saw the level of detail, I had high hopes of being able to keep mine within the 120K poly limit, but I am new to this whole process and using only ZBrush. It's been hell getting Decimation Master to drop the the poly's and still look right and setting up UV's is just as bad. I think I waited to long too take that stuff into consideration, and probably need to retopologize.

Anyhow, I have a lot of respect for you and the other 3D artists who do this so well.

It was a great learning experience, but I'm throwing in the towel at this point. I wish you well! Excellent work.

but Most of my modeling was done in 3Ds Max.It's still quite hard for me to do hard surface modeling in Zbrush.(I dont mean Zbrush isn't good hard surface modeling tool.I'm just not that Zbrush expert.I'm sure that many Zbrush experts can do hard surface modeling by using just Zbrush.)So I usualy get 80percent of modeling done in 3ds max and do just 20percent details in Zbrush.
for lowpolymesh I use freeform modeling on surface in 3DS max.(it's the same tool as polyboost plugin.)
