View Full Version : Link end effector

Hi folks,

I am fairly new to MaxScripting. Just started out a about a week ago and I'm working on an IK rig. I've created an IK HD Solver between some objects and set the correct rotational axes etc.

Problem is that I want to create an end effector (the End Effector option in the Motion Panel) at the end of the chain and link that up to a dummy. The nearest solution I've come is a workaround to make the dummy the last part of the Chain, but then I cannot link the dummy to the rig's root object (for moving the whole rig)

Anyone knows how to do or solve this?
