Hey everyone, I guess this is as good of place as any to introduce myself.

I've been coming to the CGTalk forums since I got my new job here at Linx Technologies ( - the current graphic designer here (Brendan Wright - also an entrant) referred me, and I've been hooked ever since.

I've made some short animations and enviroments, but I've been VERY humbled by all the amazing work here.

One area I deperately need help on is sketching. I've never been much for drawing, and my handwriting is barely legible, which makes everything a bit more chalenging :)

My program of choice is max, but I've been trying to learn lightwave as well, and I am proficient, though not very good, at photoshop.

I am 18 years old, been doing graphics for about 7 years or so, and still loving it.

eh.. that's about it.

I needed to get something up... not sure what my idea is yet though... :-/

Well.. I'm 24 and I'm barely starting... so kudos to you for such an early start. It will definitely make things easier for you. Oh .. and I can't sketch either...I'm going to buy a small sketchbook today so I can carry it around everywhere. Practice is one thing I need... Hope to post some early work tomorrow or Friday.

Nice terrain setup, I'm looking forward to see how the enviro, atmospherics and other elements come up. :D

Thanks for the encouragement :)

Yea, I did get an early start, but it had it's price.

As for sketching, I figured out that I'm like 200x better (and still not that good  ) when I sketch in photoshop as apposed to traditional media. I just have no control over a pencil, I don't understand it. Oh well, I'll keep practicing also.
