I've run into a wall here in Maya... I've modelled a character and then placed a spotlight behind. The light shines through the character and hits the foot.This happens with all lights, so the problem must lie in the polyobject.
I've checked all Normals, and all normals point outward.
Conformed normals, avraged normals
Changed materials, deleted history, deleted unused materials
I've exported the polymodel to .obj and imported it back Maya
Closed down Maya, deleted maya environment, scripts, etc, and restarted Maya again
Used cleanup...no result.
Used select using constraints....nothing wrong...
please, any ideas?
