View Full Version : Taking classes/courses in VFX and Post-production

Don't know if this is the right forum to post this question, but I'll give it a shot. http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
So, this summer I'm moving from Denmark to the Palo Alto, CA to live with my dad in 4-5 months time. The purpose of this, is among others to study and take classes since my dad's university, Stanford, offers to pay for classes in the Bay Area for relatives. So I've been using programs like Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema4D for quite some time now, and therefore I'd like to take some classes or courses to learn even more about post-production. So I surfed around on the internet and looked at some community colleges and schools, and so far these two are what seem most appropiate, Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) and San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking. So my question to you guys is just if you have any recommedations or experiences with this that could help me?
As I said I'm staying there 4-5 months, so the courses and classes should not last over a period too long or too short, more like a few weeks..
Anyway, hope you guys can help me out here. Would be very much appreciated. http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
