Does anyone know how to display blue colour as background for warning message instead of the default purple colour?

MGlobal::displayWarning("make this warning's background blue colour..");

The doc would have mentioned it if it was possible, or at least by now you would have seen a color in this lifeless window.
Anyway I'm not sure how far you are willing to go with it, but there's a plug-in, which clears the output window (stdout instead of MGlobal). It does that by finding the window handle and sending messages directly to clear the edit box. Maybe with the same idea you could change the edit box to rich edit box, and add commands to print in color :hmm:.

Can't do UI from the API fullstop. If it was possible (which it isn't), it would have been exposed in mel....
