View Full Version : SubSurfaceScatter doesn t work in Soft 2011

Hi, everytime I try to render an object with a subsurfacescatter-material mental ray crashes.Even when I import a model from 2010. Even simple objects , shere, cube, etc.
I have Autodesk Softimage 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack 64-bit.
Any suggestions?

It is working for me. I tried older scenes and created a new one with the simpleSSS, and it seems to render as normal.

Since you have support, I would write down steps to reproduce problelm and contact support. Pehaps they can notice something.

You might try renaming your preferences folder and see if resetting prefs has something to do with it. This has fixed many mysterious problems before.
