View Full Version : scriptjob -attributeChange refresh

I'm trying to use a scriptJob with the attributeChanged flag, but the problem if that the object it needs to affect doesn't remain constant throughout the scriptJobs life. I thought I could just update the variable that its referring to but it seems that after being initialized the scriptJob can't be changed. It looks like this:

scriptJob -p xyzWindow -ac ($varSel[0] + ".translate") maniProc;

Is the best way to go about this to kill it when a new object is selected and create a new scriptJob in its place?

Yes, you could have a SelectionChanged scriptJob that kills the old and creates a new attributeChange scriptJob
