I'm currently animating a centipede along a spline in 3ds Max. I've attached the centipede to the path using an IKSpline which works fine until about half way along the spline the centipede flips 180 degrees! and then flips back the right way up! I cant quite work out why it's doing this. The path it follows is curved around part of a sphere so its not flat. Would that affect which way up the centipede is? Any thoughts on correcting this?
