View Full Version : Multipass rendering without Infinite

01 January 2011, 08:35 AM
Is it possible to render objects and their shadows while excluding the terrain?

I know multipass rendering would render the separate channels for me, but Infinite is too far outside my budget as a hobbyist. Does anybody know any tricks in Esprit that might help me?

I've know that Vue will let me render an alpha channel of the scene while excluding infinite planes. Is there perhaps a way to make the alpha channel include the shadows?

Hi Charglerode,

As most users on here tend to use only the Infinite or xStreme versions of Vue and the fact that this question is very unique. I would recommend posting a similar topic over on the Cornucopia forums. I am sure someone will be able to advise you there. Personally though, I think you will need to upgrade to get any decent multipass options.

Hope that helps..
