View Full Version : Gallery Flooding

01 January 2011, 11:19 PM
Hello i just had me last piece declined from the showcase gallery. The reason given was "
Gallery thread flooding" I submitted the two pieces a whole 2 days apart? How does
this qualify as gallery flooding? Are submissions so few now that my pieces
will debut close together on the gallery? If this is the case then i understand
but this is unexpected since in the past i've never had a problem posting
within a few days of each other.

I've also noticed that validation takes alot longer now. Does this have something
to do with it.

Anyway thanks in advance for your helpful response.

The reason why it was rejected for flooding is because I didn't do any validation yesterday (I often take a break on Saturdays), and so both of your submissions appeared within the same validation queue this evening. Due to the large amount of images being added to the gallery this evening, it would be unfair on others to allow one artist to have two submissions. If you resubmit your image tomorrow or Tuesday, it'll be fine.
