Hello everyone,

Has anyone implemented a low-pass filter in Maya? I'm working with some real-world acceleration data, and I need to remove the gravity acceleration.

It's actually accelerometer data from a cell phone. We're working on an interactive installation using phone motion data over time. Since I originally posted, I've come up with a solution that uses a Python script to run an FFT on the data to remove the gravity as well as some of the sensor noise. Python's scipy and numpy libraries make it pretty easy. It would be nice to do it in Maya, however.
