View Full Version : Horse Neck Joint Placement

01 January 2011, 02:41 AM

I'm setting up joints for a horse, and am a bit new to rigging. Looking through some old threads and online, I noticed most neck joints were placed in an arc to follow the curve of the horse's neck. Here I just placed them where the vertebrae would actually be located on a skeleton, I'm not sure if this is correctówould this cause problems down the road, or is this also an acceptable method for joint placement? I keep hearing it's advised to follow anatomy, but not sure if I should just follow the curve of the neck instead?

Here's ( the screenshot.

Thanks in advance!
