Rigging a bird with feathers
Can someone please help me out by telling me a procedure of rigging a bird in 3DS MAX,

i have modelled the bird and its feathers too, 1 thing which confuses me is how to i rig the wings with the feathers ?

can anyone please help me out. ??

Spline ik is onme option.

Also a bend modifier will give you some effect of wings flapping.

Mind you add a ploy serlect modifier.

It really depends on what type of animation you want to do with it and how detailed the character is.

DID u get it right.

Have you considered using poly select and a bend modifier for the wing flaps.

Then just put bones in for extra animation and use a flex modifier for the feathers.

Dont ask me how to use it, i still need to learn 35 % of max.
