I'm having problem with soft shadow with Vue when I integrated it with Mental rays in 3ds Max.
No matter how soft the shadow I set in Vue but once bring over to Max, the shadow will become very hard with the default raytrace shadow from Vue's scene.
I attached with example to show a tree scene created in Vue and I re-open it with Max. Once the scene opened in Max, I then build a box in Max and test the shadow casting. Now you can see that the shadow casted in the box is very hard where the shadow casted in the Vue's ground is soft. I've tried many methods but still can't fix it!
