View Full Version : Blend shapes and mesh problems in Maya

Ok so I used The Setup Machine to rig my character for a senior project. I then made some blend shapes for my character's face. I set them up and they seemed to work fine. Then I realized that everytime I move the body and try the blendshapes, the main head snaps to the blendshape being used.

I figured the above problem out by rearranging the inputs. But after doing this, all of the mesh on the character is being influenced when i use the blend shapes (not just the parts I want). I tried using the blend shapes weight tool and it did not work. You're help would be greatly appreciated!! :)
