Hey all,

I just finished up another article. This time we're talking about how to adjust the quality of the depth of field effect in 3ds Max with mental ray ( It's centered around the sampling parameters so this is a visual example of the change you can expect with increased sampling quality. (

Hi Mr-Blue-Summer,

first i have respect for people, that want help other guys. Thanks! But i think it is better to create a Tutorial about the mia_bokeh_lens shader of mental images. You have more control and you can setup the Sample Amount. The internal DoF from Autodesk for mental ray is very, very old and bad. I hope you write a new Tutorial.
