I wish to create road rail guards.
So I have simple model:

I using Path Deform WSM to place it to road:

But the poles are moving to wrong positions. I can't figure out how to place them correctly.
I also won't add extra polys to the current shape.

Any suggestions?

you might do one one several things:

a) you might simply put an edit poly on top of the stack or convert to 'editable poly' and then detach each post by hand and move it, or move it as a sub-object in 'element; mode.

b) you could also refine the mesh BEFORE you apply the path deformer, giving each horizontal segment 8 polys instead of 4. This way, the "midpoint" of each horizontal beam on the fence will stick to the path and hence line up better with the posts.

c) you could make some adjustments to the path so that the path itself is comprised of straight lines vs. curved ones, just like the fence is comprised of straight lines and not curves. Here what you'd do is check how many segments you have on your fence BEFORE you apply the path deform. Then select the path and apply a "normalize spline" modifier and set it so that the number of path segments matches the number of segments on the long, straight fence mesh object. Then, ad 'edit spline' modifier on top of the 'normalize spline', right click the spline object and change all the vertices to 'corner'. The apply the path deformer to the fence, and if your numbers are correct things should line up perfectly.
