View Full Version : Toon Outline Duplication Special Problem..

I have a really strange problem thats stumping me, and also :banghead:

So I have an object, a wing on a hangglider type device. I created some rig controls for it like a bend deformer, and 2 blendshapes on one wing. I used Duplicate special, and have another wing that bends and blends with the other wing PERFECTLY. HURRAY!

But for some reason, the outline of my toon shader, or any toon outline, cannot be applied to this duplicated wing! Any ideas on why this could happen? Thanks!

Also, I did a quick test.
I did a duplicate special on a simple box with a toon outline, and the duplicated box didn't have an outline attached to it right off that bat. So I tried to manually assign an outline ,and it still didn't work....

I'm not sure what is the cause of this but have you tried deleting the history?

Yup, I tried deleting history as usual. No luck.

There is simply some problem with Adding a toon outline on an object that his been "Duplicate Special"'d. I even tried connect nodes together in the exact same way as the original, and no dice :P
