View Full Version : Bug with path constraints in face rig (3DS Max)

Hey all,

I have a game face rig where I use a splines to define the muscle groups on the face. I have helpers on these splines driven by path constraints which eventually give me the normal to the face surface via script controllers. The problem I have is that every time I open the rig max file, the face looks distorted. Scrubbing one frame ahead and back fixes it. I initially though it was the script controllers not getting any input for the normals, or adding a skin to splines, but it turns out it is a bug with the path constraint. If I delete the path constraint from the nodes, I have no distortion.

Any help to fix this?
