View Full Version : How to attach a point to a vertex on a spline

I'm fairly new to character rigging, but I'm trying to use a spline to control the wrinkles on the forehead of a character. I thought I would create a spline and then attach points along the line to control the splines behaviour.

The problem is I can't seem to figure out how to make a constraint assigned to the vertices on the spline. Is that not possible?

Also is this a bad/good way of rigging the forehead?

Edit: I forgot to mention I'm using 3DS Max 2011

I just found out you can use a Linked XForm modifier on the spline to do the job. :wip: I wouldn't mind getting advice on the best way to rig a forehead though
