Hi can somebody explain me how this is setup.


I have setup the same way as my friend shawn did.please let me know whats wrong in my scene

the main problem im facing in shawn`s file is i am unable to adjust the position of the container,if i adjust the sim gets spoiled

so i made a container similair to that in my camera position but i am not able to produce the sim
I dont know whats wrong in my sim file

Yup man,,both motion & shading is running relatively with given attrib. keep one thing in mind output of Maya fluid change every time when u tweak little bit in resolution or size.In your scene every attrib of Fluid container & Emitter are same as in shawn except resolution & size.So now you have to tweak the fluid attrib which control the fluid motion.Hope this will help....

First of all turn on velocity draw & try to find out wht's wrong is going on..Lower the sim rate scale,swirl ,turbulence,etc...add little bit of damp.there are too many same kind of question in this forum try to read answer of that given by masters.All the best
