We are looking for a visual effects artist for an original RPG for the 360 and PS3. The technical professionals running this project are driven by one goal…to provide the player a totally immersive gameplay experience.
You will be responsible for:
Designing and creating textures and texture sequences for particles.
Building simple sprites to modeling small objects to be projected as particles such as shrapnel.
Incorporating lighting into particle systems and their effects.
Working with engineers to help develop efficient and innovative in-house effects tools.
Working with Creative director to develop and review tasks to reach goals and maintain vision.
To qualify you have:
3-5 years of professional VFX development experience in the video game industry.
Experience developing a game for the 360 platform is a MUST.
Technically proficient in HLSL, GLSL or Cg shading languages. Proficiency in 3D Studio Max or Maya.
Skilled in creating textures and texture sequences for particles.
Portfolio that demonstrates a variety of art asset creation and technical development.
