I am currently trying to render my scene with the Light tracer and a skylight for my lighting and I have glossy materials applied to some objects and everytime I render, the glossyness goes away.
Any Ideas?

hey if you could post some screenshots or more information about settings on the shaders, etc.. it would be great so we could address your issue quicker... just a tip :)

use another light for the spec spot or direct or anything depending on ur lighting condition and renderer..

yeah gi doesnt create (fake) speculars
