View Full Version : orienting joints after weight painting

I haven't done any character setup for a while and I forgot to orient my joints.. :banghead: I already got all my weights painted and I don't want to do it again.. My mesh is made out of seperate meshes: arms, head, shirt, shoes, pants, ect..

Is there a way to orient my joints without destroying the painted weights of all my meshes which make the character?

Any help would be great!

Alternately you could export the weights, I haven't used maya's exporter for a while, does it still just use dumb image maps?
