I've been developing a new (graph-based) visual HLSL shader development tool named ShaderWorks which will be released in beta within 2 months.

I'm posting here to ask you the game/software developers, what special features or functionality you would like to see in the final product.

I would suggest putting this in one of the artist threads. Since they are going to be the ones to use the final product, they'll have a clearer idea of what you need to include, what they would like you to include, and what would be great if it was possible (the really "out there" features ^_^).
