Hey everyone! This is our first time entering a contest on here and we're looking forward to digging in and getting to work on it. We'll keep you updated on the progress as it's coming along.

hey David , great start :applause: but i guess you should have a flag or something on the plane .
i know it is not the main focus of the challenge but i heard smeone say : "if you want to make something , then make it PERFECT ".

I Love old war birds and the Lancaster was pound for pound the best bomber of its day.
Now I just have to make everything else look just as good.

I plan on posting all my references for those interested I came across some good ones of the bomb set up and landscape around the Eder Dam.

just a quick heads up for ya, the upper turret was removed for the dambusters variant of the lancaster as there wasnt enough room for it and the upkeep bomb ;) great work on the lanc.

thanks tom that was a good catch. I went back to double check my sources and your right, that model did not have a mid gun.

Its good to have time to work on this once more.
I have started on my model of the dame and my team mate Yelena has started working on the water effects. And so far so good ^_^
