View Full Version : Wip Character

I am fairly new to character modeling as well as this forum.
I still have work to do on the model, but I'm trying to work on edge flow and would appreciate any advice.

It doesn't make sense, what is it? Why are it's hands smaller than it's arms?

It's just a kind of creature with various masks and semi-elastic skin. The forearms are large partly because I wanted to accentuate them, but also because I was thinking about game mechanics involving blend shapes to morph the arm for different purposes.

Here's the newer one
I brought down the polycount in most areas, retopo'd the masq and eyes (not quite face topo tho), I left the arms the same for the wrist because I thought it was important to the character and the silhouette.

As far as the actual character, it is a wraith like thing with transforming forearms and changing masks which I will make evident later.

I'm still struggling with the feet and the back topology.
Any crits or comments are welcome. (:

I wonder can it really walk properly with the tiny feet?

It would be nice if you posted more background information on the creature. I'm kinda having a hard time judging because I'm not entirely sure of what it is and what it's goal is.
