View Full Version : selecting children of selected node

09 September 2010, 03:52 PM
ok, so all I need to do is select the children directly below a selected node, i.e.

$sel[] = `ls -sl`;
$for ($i = 0; $i < size($sel); ++$i){
$pieces[] = `list of objects directly under $sel[0]`;
$endPiece[$i] = $pieces[(size(pieces)-1)];
select -r $endPieces

it cant be hard, but for the life of me I can't get the right ls command extention

kind regards,

pickWalk -direction "down";
$objs = `ls -sl`;
