View Full Version : Background Tree Animation

10 October 2003, 03:43 PM

Ive got a background with some palm trees over the top...

...and want to animate the trees to sway and the spotlights as well if possible. I can touch out the trees and the lights are a seperate PS layer anyway, but is there a better way to animate them than have them as a seperate layer?

For instance could i use a/s to be more subtle? The background is pretty high res so i can get detailed stuff but what do you think is the best way to go???

oeh thats very difficult, i think.
Why don't you search on google for sky pics and tree pics? Then get those together in separate layers?

For the tree: Cut the tree in parts (in flash) in graphic and animate it (a loop).
Then place the tree-graphic and the sky-background graphic in a movie.

I think that this way does not cost much kb as the difficult way.

Hope to see it soon.

Flash can't animate raster images (except than moving/resizing them). I'd save the lights as a png images (w/ transparency) import it in flash w/ the a tree animation (probably home-made) and make the lights swerve using flash....
