im trying to make real clouds and these are the best results i got till now

here is the clip only 166KB

funny file name ha :rolleyes:

so tell guyz what do u think of it
how real is it

its done by particles NOT fluid
i tryed fluid it took me 25 min to render a farme and the anim took 20 hours

but with particels it took 2 min for the frame and the anim 4 hours

just one thing [ DONT MIND the plain] i did it a loooong time ago
i know it sux
but its the clouds we'r here for

they look great, maybe a little more variety in the density. it's all pretty solid right now, but then that does happen sometimes...

I think this dynamics forum is sorta dead. I only come in here when I notice a new name in the last posted box at the top of the Maya forum.

Pretty cool.. I too would be interested how you did it.

I think they are moving a bit too fast right now. It would be awesome if you could get more detail on the close up.. because the wide angle looks more realistic.

Keep up the great work.. and I'm looking forward to some insight :)

Aren't there paint effects clouds too? Tried you those?
