View Full Version : Modeling a turtle shell

Can anyone give me any tips as to things I should do or not do if I am going to model a turtle shell? I am a maya user but I may model this in C4D. (place of employment has C4D and I am a maya user, and I just started) It doesn't need to be an overly realistic one, but also not cartoony either. Any advice would be appreciated! I tried looking on Youtube for a video tut but didn't see anything close... Once again thank you very much, you guys have no idea how much noobs appreciate help on these sites. Hopefully I can someday help someone out as much as you guys do! Mostly an AE user getting into FCP and 3D. Thanks
