View Full Version : Bottle shaped POP

I would like to ask you for a BIG help to me.
I am close to get a contract after almost 2 years of unemployment but I have to know a bit about Cinema 4D.
Basic duties will be print production but sometimes I have to make a presentation and for that I need to create pictures as shown here:
I can draw the bottle shape easily either in Illustrator or in C4D and then I can extrude it.
BUT... then how can I define the the curve (or round like profile)???
Once I can do this, I can mirror the object and use them as front and rear of the stand...I guess.

PLEASE, could anyone give a clue?
Thanks a lot in advance.

That is not the right way to model a bottle, if you want to use the label as texture in a straight forwarded way, you can build a lower mesh model and manually weld the mirrored points and add geometry later to smooth it out.

The best way is draw the bottle profile and revolve into shape and cut out the lable as a texture instead of the entire picture.
