View Full Version : Problem/edgeflow on hard edge with smooth curve

Hi there, I've been lurking CGsociety for a while now, and finally decided to join up.. i'm a long time modeler who has been too lazy to perfect his skills and i have a question about a model of a car rim i'm making (mostly to improve my skills) and theres an annoying problem with my edgeflow that i cannot seem to master.

There is no way i can get this to work out when i use NURMS smoothing and i would like to know how you (oh gods of 3d modelling) would do it.

But still the result wont get smooth!

Increase or split the edge should do, it seems like not enough geometry to blend between hard and smooth.
