Maybe, both characters head are too small. Or just really tall people:D

Thanks Sanislov (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=257326) :) You are right about the height, I did exaggerate the characters height a bit to give it more of a superhero feel, since they were both pretty average type characters. Perhaps I went a bit far. I'm going to see if I can tweak. Thanks!

Update: Updated textures on my graduate piece.. Stryker.
Will be rendering out the high poly and low poly finals of the props from my modular set.

The hard surface work is pretty solid. On the striker the wheels may be a bit to high poly. And the color may be to saturated, I would say reduce the saturation on the green maybe about 25% and even as high as 50%, and get a better read on the material differences. That would make it a much better piece. The tires and the metal aren't reading like diff. Materials that may have a lot to do with your lighting set up. Mainly because they're away from the main light which doesn't allow them to display the diff. specs.
The character stuff doesn't do much for me the texturing is very early and doesn't seem interesting. The faces aren't particularly great.on the girl the crotch is way to high. There's more flaws on your characters that I can pick out than in your vehicles.
The M4 is not bad, push some of your highlites a bit more, just to make it pop. The dust seems to be a bit uniform as oppose to concentrating on where it would build up. Over all hard surface stuff will likely get you an interview and a job eventually. I know this is a bit harsh.

Hey Stone, thanks for the feedback. I definately need to adjust the saturation on the stryker. That will be my focus after I get done with M4 adjustments. I agree with you that my hardsurface pieces are stronger than my characters. No excuses, I just think hardsurface modeling/texturing comes more naturally to me than characters. I'm going to try and add some more interesting details in the textures for the characters, let me know if you have any suggestions!
Heres an update to my truck based on some critiques I've received. The spec/hue has been changed for the tarp, also some minor mud/dirt added:
Heres some renders of the props from my modular set:
Edit: For higher res images you may also see them on my site, I think their might be a image size restriction on the forums. Sorry gys.
